ELKINS, W.Va. – The Davis & Elkins College men's lacrosse team dropped a Great Midwest Athletic Conference contest to Walsh University Saturday evening on a snow-covered Nuttall Field.  The Cavaliers scored nine first half goals on their way to a 15-5 win.

Zack Lontayao scored a goal and assisted on two others to lead the Senators with three points.  Buddy Brown, Austin Derx, Nolan Morrison, and Jackson Woodworth each added a goal.  Brown led the team in ground balls with five.  Joshua Csanyi had 13 saves in goal.

D&E drops to 2-6 overall and 1-2 in the G-MAC.

Walsh improves to 3-6 overall and 2-1 in the league.

The Senators return to action next Saturday, traveling to Wheeling to take on the Cardinals.  Opening face-off is scheduled for 1:00pm.
