ADRIAN, Mich. – Coach
Mariah Ack's Davis & Elkins College acrobatics and tumbling traveled to Adrian College Monday night. The meet was close throughout. In the end Adrian narrowly escaped with a 231.420 – 230.340 victory. The points scored by D&E were their second highest of the season. The Senators scored 233.725 in a win over Glenville State.
After the compulsory events the Bulldogs led 30.75 – 28.85. Adrian outscored Davis & Elkins 25.60 – 19.50 in the acro events and 27.30 – 26.95 in pyramid events to lead 83.65 – 75.30 at the break. D&E would take the toss events 24.20 – 21.55 and tumbling events 47.10 – 43.00. The team event was extremely close with the Senators scoring 83.74 and Adrian 83.12.
D&E drops to 2-2 on the season.
Adrian improves to 3-1.
The Senators return to the mat this Saturday at Fairmont State. The meet is schedule for 2:00pm inside Joe Retton Arena.
