GLENVILLE, W.Va. – Davis & Elkins picked up another road win at Glenville State Tuesday evening in three sets. The Senators have won four in a row and have won twelve of fourteen sets in the four wins.

D&E took the first set 25-18. The Senators led throughout the set and the Pioneers were able to back to tie the set on two occasions.

The second set saw one tie and one lead change as D&E won the set 25-20.

The third and final set was the most tightly contested, as there were ten ties and five lead changes. The Senators pulled away in the end 26-24.

The Senators were led by Macie Magallon's ten kills and two blocks.

Maria Isabel Butruce Candiota added six aces and two assists.

Brianna Portly had four kills and two blocks.

Clara Caralt contributed thirteen digs and an ace.

Brilane Manchego added twenty assists.

Jeanne Hassoun had three assists and an ace.

Also adding significant stats for the Senators were Melisa Ozsar with five kills, Mariah Autobee with seven digs, and Haylie Marumoto with six digs.

The Senators have won six of their last seven matches. They've won their last three on the road and are 8-0 at home this season.

The win takes D&E to 14-8 overall and 7-3 in the Mountain East Conference.

The Senators play their next three at home with West Liberty visiting on Friday, October 21 at 7pm, Wheeling on Saturday, October 22 at 2pm for Senior Day, and Charleston on Tuesday, October 25 at 7pm.
