WHEELING, W.Va. – Coach
Daniel Mondragon's Senator basketball team traveled to Wheeling Saturday afternoon to face the Cardinals in Mountain East Conference action. Davis & Elkins dressed only eight players and gave a great effort falling just short 74-73.
Ben Gilliam and
Sam Rolle IV each had 22 points for Senators.
Bryton Bissainthe added 12 points followed by
Cortney Walton eight.
Wheeling was led by Jordan Reid's 25 points followed by Jordan Beale 10.
With the loss D&E drops to 6-13 overall and 4-10 in the MEC.
Wheeling improves to 7-13 overall and 6-8 in league play.
The Senators hit the road again Monday with a non-league contest at Salem. Tip-off is slated for 6:00pm on Mike Carey Court.
