  • Both goalies stood tall while the defensive intensity picked up near the latter moments of the first half. Frostburg collected a clutch marker from Summer Cavey with just five seconds left in the first half, pushing the Bobcats ahead at 5-3.
  • Cuevas made a save to open the second period and Bond finished after the ensuing clear, slicing the D&E deficit to 5-4 at 27:45. The Bobcats used a three-goal spurt, ending at 18:06 with a man-down tally for a backbreaking goal and an 8-4 lead.
  • Bond got on the board for her third tally of the day as D&E trailed 9-5. Frostburg collected consecutive insurance markers with just around one minute left before Graff buried a free position attempt with under 20 seconds remaining for the 11-6 final score.
