FAIRMONT, W.Va. -- Davis & Elkins men's tennis took two of three doubles matches in a 6-1 loss to Fairmont State on Wednesday afternoon.
Jacob Johnson and
Andrew Shand closed out number two doubles with four consecutive unreturnable serves in a 6-4 win. At number three doubles,
Hussain Hamide and
Vinicius Azeredo partnered for a 6-2 win.
In singles play,
Jacob Bowman fought back to force a second-set tiebreaker at number six singles, while Azeredo was consistent throughout the afternoon.
