ELKINS, W.Va. -- Head coach
Cameron Grant earned his first career victory as the head coach at Davis & Elkins as the Senators rolled to a 7-0 victory against Frostburg State on Friday afternoon at the Thomas Tennis Center.
Grant, who was elevated to the head coaching role prior to the season, used the depth in his lineup on Saturday against the Bobcats.
Kyle Hawthorne earned his first collegiate win with a 6-0, 6-0 triumph at number four singles. Additionally,
Bruno Barrueto picked up his first career victory, coming at number six single.
Jacob Johnson and
Alvaro Legoinha also impressed in their respective matches, leading wire to wire in the two wins.
Jacob Bowman and Hawthorne lead from the get-go in number three doubles, taking the match by a 6-2 margin.
