CHARLESTON, W.Va. – Davis and Elkins Volleyball fall in a five set match against University of Charleston. The Senators battled to take the first 27-25 but couldn't close out in the second set, which lead University of Charleston to take it. The Senators defense shutdown the Golden Eagles offense in the third set which pressured the Golden Eagles into a negative hitting percentage. In the fourth set the Senators trailed behind the Golden Eagles but came out short. The Senators put up a fight in the fifth set but just couldn't close out the match, Macie Magallon had a total of 33 Kills, Brilane Manchego with the double-double, contributed 47 Assist, 17 Digs, and 6 Kills. Maddie Jaloszynski helped out the Senators with 3 Aces, 19 Digs, and 4 Block Assist. Brianna Portley lead the Senators with 6 Blocks Assist and Maria Isabel Butruce Candiota also contributed with 11 Kills and 3 Block Assist.
