The Davis & Elkins College Women's Lacrosse team was dominant in a 23-2 win over Waynesburg University on Tuesday in Pennsylvania.
The Senators led an offensive onslaught, scoring at will against the Yellow Jackets defense.
Kathleen Shaw and
Ryann Sumner led the Senators with four goals each for the Senators, who took a 9-0 lead in the first half.
Kaitlin Howell,
Angelina Horan, and
Seana Soika scored three goals each, and Horan led the Senators with two assists.
Hanna Bond and
Seana Soika had four ground balls each, with
Casey Johnson and
Angelina Horan had three ground balls.
Surelys Baez got the win in goal, allowing just two goals over the course of the 60 minutes.
The Senators will return to Nuttall Field for a big GMAC match-up against Lake Erie on Friday at 6:00 PM.
