The Senators Acrobatics & Tumbling team headed to Fairmont on Saturday to take on Fairmont State and West Virginia Wesleyan in a Tri-Meet.
The Fairmont State Falcons, who are currently ranked #6 in the country by the NCATA, won the meet overall with a score of 278.680, winning every individual event
However, the Senators won in several events against West Virginia Wesleyan, who only finished ahead of D&E by ten points.
The Senators scored their second highest score in program history, finishing with 236.025.
Highlights for D&E include
Nina Day's performance in the 6 Element Pass, and
Deanna Blood's 8.775 in the Open Pass, which defeated the Bobcats in that event.
The Senators also defeated the Bobcats in the Pyramid 1 (9.65, their highest event score of the day), and Pyramid 3 events to defeat West Virginia Wesleyan in the Overall Pyramid score.
Davis & Elkins will head back to the mat on Friday for a dual meet at Glenville State.
