The Davis & Elkins College Men's Basketball team fell at home on Thursday night to the Walsh Cavaliers 85-64 in GMAC play.
The Cavaliers picked up an early lead and never looked back, heading into the break with a 22 point lead. The Senators fought hard in their comeback attempt, outscoring Walsh in the second half 45-44.
Trevor English had a double-double for the Senators, with 28 points and 14 rebounds. English also led the team with three assists.
Edmund Parker was the other Senator in double figures, finishing with 12 points.
Robert Bonar also added nine points.
The Senators will continue their home stand as they play host to Malone on Saturday. Tip-off in the McDonnell Center is set for 12 PM.
