COLUMBUS, Ohio. - The Davis and Elkins College Men's Basketball team dropped a 117-82 game against Ohio Domincan University on the road this afternoon for a G-MAC play.
The Senators had a rough start and weren't able to pick up their game, allowing the hosts to build a 46-9 lead with ten minutes into the game.
The home team didn't look back and kept scoring points. The Panthers took a 62-25 into halftime.
After the break, the Senators sped up the rhythm, cutting the difference. Unfortunately, not enough to stop ODU, who didn't slow things down and closed the game with a final score of 117-82.
Despite the final result,
Edmund Parker was the top scorer of the game with 33 points.
Logan Philips was the second leader in points. The senior had 11 and collected five rebounds.
Trevor English led the Senators both in rebounds and assists. English had six and seven respectively. English also had 10 points in the game.
D&E shot 43.2 percent in the game and 75 percent of the free-throws, going 9-for-12.
The Senators will return to action next Thursday for another away game against Kentucky Wesleyan University. The game is set for 7:30 PM.
