Senators Fall to Frostburg State 71-63

ELKINS, W. Va. — Four Frostburg State players eclipsed double figures on the evening, riding their way to a balanced 71-63 win over Davis & Elkins on Tuesday at the McDonnell Center. Despite Jamiyah Johnson's dominant night on the board, a 12-point run by the Bobcats in the first corner gave them a first quarter lead that held through most of the game.

After taking a one-point lead into the half, Sydney Nestor sank a three-pointer to put the Senators back in front early in the third quarter, but an onslaught of five Bobcat threes would put them comfortably in the lead. Three Senators finished in double-figures, as Jessica Eadsforth-Yates led D&E with 13 points. Johnson scored 11 points, and Nestor would finish with 10 and a team-high four assists.
