ELKINS, W. Va. – Davis & Elkins held the edge in shots on the afternoon, but ultimately suffered a 1-0 setback to Urbana after a late goal on Sunday afternoon at Nuttall Field in Mountain East Conference (MEC) play.
 
Leon Nelson broke a scoreless tie in the 81st minute to push Urbana (7-4-3, 7-3-2 MEC) in front with less than 10 minutes remaining in regulation. Davis & Elkins (6-7, 5-7 MEC) had one final chance, courtesy of 
Sebastian Ongkowijaya with just 51 seconds left, but the attempt sailed wide as the visitors preserved the shutout.
 
Each team had their chances, but the teams combined for just four shots on target. Davis & Elkins held a 12-7 edge in shots, with seven attempts coming in the second half. 
Everton Carvalho made one save in goal while Jakub Henriksen made a pair of stops for Urbana.
Markus Just had three shots for D&E with one on frame. 
Nicholas Burnz, 
Francisco Ferrer and 
Matteo Ghezzi added two shots each for the Senators.
