CANTON, Ohio -

The Davis & Elkins College Men's Basketball team picked up their second conference win on the season, topping Malone on the road by a score of 78-73.

The Senators and Pioneers battled close early, with Malone leading by 7 at the break. The Senators went on a 14-4 run early in the second half, taking control of the game by forcing 20 turnovers, and capitalizing with 20 for 27 on free throw attempts.

Edmund Parker led all scorers with 21 points, also adding six rebounds.

Trevor English went for 18 points and eight rebounds, with five assists.

Marcus Friend scored 8 points and had five assists, but excelled defensively with an impressive nine steals.

Logan Phillips added 14 points and four rebounds.

The Senators will continue the Ohio road trip with Saturday's game at Walsh. Tip-off in North Canton is set for 3 PM.
