ELKINS – The Davis & Elkins College Senators Men's Basketball team rallied from a seven-point halftime deficit to defeat the Trevecca Nazarene Trojans 67-55 in GMAC play Saturday afternoon at the McDonnell Center.
The Senators rolled in the second half behind 58.3% shooting from three-point range to pick up their second straight victory, and first conference win of the season.
Dominic Scott-Robinson led the Senators with 11 points, and
Patrick Wilburn added 10 of his own.
Trevor English picked up game highs in both rebounds and assists, with 12 boards and four assists to go with his eight points.
Emre Yildirim scored nine points, while
Logan Phillips and
Marcus Friend tied for the game high with four steals each.
The Senators will return to action Thursday night with an away matchup against Tiffin. Tip-off is set for 7:30 in Tiffin, Ohio.
