CEDARVILLE,
Ohio - The Davis & Elkins College Baseball team completed a series sweep over Cedarville University Saturday, winning both games of the G-MAC doubleheader against the Yellow Jackets 8-1 and 19-13.

Arman Lahkani limited the hosts to just one run on five hits in game one, as the Senators jumped out to an early lead and never looked back.

Maxx Mahon scored
Robbie McKinney with a single in the first inning to give the Senators the lead.
Â
In the second inning,
Troy McMillion batted home a pair of runs, as
Connor Fitzgerald and
Bragg Eastin scored on McMillion's single.
Â
McMillion would then score later in the inning on a wild pitch.
Â
After a scoreless third, Mahon would pick up another RBI single in the fourth, this time scoring
Johnny Liu.
Â
Cedarville would score their only run of the game in the bottom half of the inning, but Davis & Elkins would respond with three more runs in the fifth.
Â
McKinney hit a triple to left center that scored Liu and
James Turnbull for the first two runs of the inning. McKinney would then score on Mahon's third RBI single of the game.

Mahon finished the game 4-for-4 with a walk.

Lahkani earned the complete game victory, striking out eight Cedarville batters.
Â
Game two did not start out well for the Senators, as Cedarville scored one in the first before a big four-run inning in the third and three more runs in the fifth to take an 8-0 lead.

Heading into the sixth, with just one hit on the scoreboard, the Senators started to show signs of life offensively, as Mahon hit a two-out single and the scored on a double to left by
Hunter Thomas.

Cedarville scored once more in the bottom of the sixth inning to go back up by eight.
Â
The Senators cut into the gap extensively in the seventh inning, scoring five runs to cut the deficit to 9-6.

McMillion doubled home
Chase DeGrood for the first run, while moving Fitzgerald to third. Fitzgerald then scored on Turnbull's sacrifice fly to left.

McMillion then scored on a throwing error by the catcher, as Liu stole second and then advanced to third on the error. Liu would then score on a groundout by McKinney.

After Mahon was hit by a pitch, he scored on a triple to left center by Thomas, capping the scoring in the inning.

The Senators weren't done though, as they plated five more runs in the eighth inning to take the lead.

Turnbull hit an RBI single to score DeGrood from third for the first run of the inning. Liu followed it up with a double down the left field line that scored Turnbull all the way from first.

In the next at bat, McKinney singled to the right side, scoring Liu, which tied the game at 9..

After Mahon drew a walk, Thomas doubled home both baserunners to break the tie and put D&E ahead.

However, Cedarville would respond, scoring two runs of their own in the eighth to tie the game back up at 11. After a scoreless ninth, the game went to extra innings.

The Senators took nothing to chance in the 10
th inning, going on to score eight runs to secure the victory.

With runners on second and third,
Shawn Pass hit a pinch-hit single to score Liu and put D&E ahead 12-11. After a hit by pitch that loaded the bases, Fitzgerald then hit an infield single that scored Thomas and kept the bases loaded to put D&E up 13-11.

Travis Danielson then stepped in and hit a grand slam to left field to blow the game open and put D&E ahead 17-11.

The Senators didn't stop there as they loaded the bases again. Mahon then hit a single that scored Liu and Turnbull, capping the scoring for the Senators.

Cedarville would score two runs in the bottom half, but the Senators held on for the victory.

Liu, Mahon and Thomas all finished with three hits in the game. Liu scored four runs, while Mahon scored three times. Thomas and Danielson each had four RBIs.

The Senators will return to action next Friday, taking on Trevecca Nazarene in the first of three games to close the regular season. First pitch is set for 7 p.m. Friday night in Nashville.
