ELKINS - Edmund Parker scored 25 points and grabbed eight rebounds to help power Davis & Elkins College to an 86-78 victory over Ohio Valley Saturday in Great Midwest Athletic Conference action at the McDonnell Center.
 
Jordan McElveen added 16 points, nine rebounds and five assists for the Senators (3-9, 1-6 G-MAC), who held a 39-37 lead at the half over the Fighting Scots (1-10, 0-5 G-MAC)
 
Ohio Valley started strong in the second half, taking the lead away from the Senators until Emre Yildirim hit back-to-back three pointers to but Davis & Elkins ahead 69-63.
 
Trevor English added the next five points to help the Senators to a double-digit lead, as the Senator's paced the rest of the way for their second-straight victory.
 
English finished with a double-double for Davis & Elkins, scoring 14 points, while also pulling down 10 rebounds.
 
Yildirim chipped in nine points for the hosts, while Kevin Simpson and Donte Doleman tossed in eight apiece.
 
The Senators will return to action on Monday when they travel to Glenville for a 7 p.m. contest.
