PEPPER PIKE, Ohio – The Davis & Elkins College Women's Lacrosse team fell to Ursuline College on Saturday 16-3 in Great Midwest Athletic Conference play.
The Senators fell behind early, as Ursuline scored twice in the first 3:15 of the contest to take and early lead.
Natalie Green answered for the Senators, scoring her third goal of the season on a free-position attempt.
However, Ursuline would score 13 seconds later, the first of 10 straight goals to end the half.
After Ursuline started the scoring in the second half, Green scored her second of the game on another free-position attempt, marking a career-high for the senior.
Eight minutes later,
Gabby Fagan scored on the woman advantage for the Senators, capping the scoring for the Senators on the afternoon.
Green led the team with two ground balls in the game.
Lydia Eichhorst led the Senators in draw controls with two and had the only caused turnover for the Senators.
The Senators will now set their sights on the final game of the regular season, as the Senators travel to Alderson Broaddus on Saturday. The Game is set for a 12 p.m. start in Philippi.
