GREENSBURG, Pa. – The Davis & Elkins College Men's Lacrosse team fell to No. 11 Seton Hill on Tuesday in Great Midwest Athletic Conference play, falling 19-2 to the Griffins.
The Senators were held scoreless in the first half, as Seton Hill scored 12 straight to start the game. The Griffins scored seven in the first and four in the second, holding the Senators to just four shots on goal in the opening 30 minutes.
Matt O'Dwyer got the Senators on the scoresheet in the third, scoring off a pass from
Zach Cotoni for his team-leading 20
th goal of the season.
Kyle Durec would score the other goal for the Senators, taking a pass from
Matthew Dyck to score on the man advantage for his fifth goal of the year and third power-play goal, a team-high.
Kyle Seago made 11 saves in the game and had four ground balls.
The Senators will return to action on Friday, as Alabama-Huntsville comes to Elkins. The game is set for a 4 p.m. start at Nuttall Field.
