ELKINS – The Davis & Elkins Men's Basketball Team fell to rival Alderson Broaddus 89-71 Saturday afternoon.
The Senators started out strong and led for most of the first half. However, the Battlers mounted a comeback and took the lead and never looked back. even so, the Senators were only down a point at the end of the half.
In the second half, D&E was unable to contain AB's offense and could not mount a comeback, falling 89-71.
Jordan MceIveen had 16 points, three rebounds, two assists, and two steals in 30 minutes of action.
Edmund Parker had 14 points, four boards, and a steal in 27 minutes.
Logan Philips had 12 points and two rebounds in 31 minutes of action.
Donte Doleman played 28 minutes and had 11 points and two rebounds.
D&E had a slight advantage in the rebounding department, outrebounding AB 32-31.
The Senators will return to action next Saturday to take on Lake Erie at 2 p.m.
