CHARLESTON, W.Va. – The Men's Basketball team lost to University of Charleston 59-66 on Monday night.
The Senators and the Golden Eagles traded leads throughout the game until Charleston took the lead at 58-57 with four minutes left in the game and held on to win the game.
In his season debut,
Kevin Simpson had 12 points in 27 minutes of action.
In his return from injury,
Rickenjee Bellevue also had 12 points and grabbed eight rebounds to go along with two blocks and a steal.
Jordan McElveen had 10 points, grabbed seven boards, and dished out four assists.
Donte Doleman had nine points and three rebounds.
D&E outrebounded Charleston 40 to 39 in the glass.
The Senators return to action on Thursday to take on conference opponent Walsh at 5:30 p.m.
