ELKINS - The Senators (6-11, 4-5 G-MAC) beat Trevecca Nazarene (4-15, 1-9 G-MAC) in straight sets on Saturday morning.

In the first set, D&E and TNU traded leads until the Senators pulled away to win the set 25-23 by capitalizing on timely kills and attacking errors from the Trojans.

In the second set, TNU briefly had a lead but D&E mounted a comeback and took the lead for good, eventually winning the set 24-19.

In the third set, the Senators fell to a 6-4 deficit but won five straight points to take the lead. After taking the lead, D&E never looked back and won the set 25-16.

The Senators had a statistical advantage in kills and aces: D&E had 36 kills compared to TNU's 33, and eight aces compared to four aces from the Trojans.

Kaitlyn LaCour led the team with nine kills, followed by
Sasha Johnson with eight, and
Lillie Mueller with seven.

Zoe Craig set a season high with four aces, followed by
Kelly Smith with two, and LaCour with one.

Raleighanne Weaver led the way with four blocks, followed by LaCour and
Anna Gallup, who each had two blocks.

Elyse Bonnett had 18 assists, followed by Craig with 16, and Johnson with one.

Smith had fifteen digs, followed by Mueller with twelve, and LaCour with ten.
