NORTH CANTON, Ohio – The Davis & Elkins College Men's Soccer team picked up a 1-0 win over Walsh University Thursday night at Milazzo Soccer Field.
 
Rafa Moreno scored the only goal of the match on a ball from Simon Hestad to put the Senators in the lead in the 39th minute.
 
The Senators and Walsh each had 12 shots in the contest with seven on frame for the visitors to just four on target for Walsh.
 
Moreno led the Senators with five shots in the contest, including four on target and the one goal.
 
Hedi Mehnaoui picked up his sixth shutout of the year, denying the host Cavaliers on all four of their attempts on goal.
 
Davis & Elkins will return to action on Saturday, wrapping up the final road contest of the regular season. The match is set for a 1 p.m. kickoff at Malone.
