Box Score 2 Game One
The Basics
- Score: 3-2 (11 innings)
- Records: Davis & Elkins (16-7) – Trevecca Nazarene (20-13)

How it Happened:
- The Trojans used two singles in the bottom of the second inning score first and take a 1-0 advantage.
- Katie Manson hit a double with two outs in the third inning, advanced to third on a Kayla Whoolery single. Danielle Norton then hit a RBI single to drive in the first run for D&E.
- The Senators and Trojans swapped scoreless frames through eight innings before D&E scored one run to make the score 2-1 in the top of the ninth. Taylor Norton singled and was lifted for pinch runner Samantha Smith. Allie Lapallo hit a double, advancing Smith to third base. Smith then scored the go ahead run on Katelyn Norton's squeeze bunt.
- Trevecca Nazarene, answered back with a solo home run off the bat of Jordan Griner to send the game to the tenth inning and the international tie breaker.
- Neither team was able to push a run across in the tenth inning. In the top of the eleventh, Danielle Norton sacrificed the runner placed at second base – Kayla Whoolery over to third. Whoolery then scored on Alyssa Cairn's sacrifice fly to left field.
- The Trojans sacrificed the runner to third base and then the runner was thrown out on a failed squeeze attempt in their half of the inning. D&E catcher Katlyn Huffman then threw out the pinch runner at second base to secure the extra inning win.
- Allie Lapallo earned the win for D&E. She allowed eight hits in eleven complete innings with four strikeouts.
Game Two
- Score: 10-0
- Records: Davis & Elkins (16-8) – Trevecca Nazarene (21-13)
- Location: Nashville, TN
How it Happened:
- The Trojans came out swinging, scoring four runs in the bottom of the first inning on five hits. They added two more runs in the bottom of the second inning to make the score 6-0.
- Trevecca scored an additional four runs in the third inning and D&E was unable to score. Kat Burbrink had three hits for the Trojans to lead all players.
- Allie Lapallo took the loss for the Senators, Victoria Krystynak worked two innings in relief and Taylor Norton came in to finish the game for D&E.
Senator Synopsis:
"Winning in eleven innings was awesome", said head coach Kimberly Stiles. "We played great softball in the first game today, we just need to keep that momentum rolling in to the second game".
