FAIRMONT, W.Va. – The Davis & Elkins College Men's Basketball team fell to No. 4 Fairmont State University on Thursday night 134-110 at Joe Retton Arena.
 
The Senators scored more points than any other opponent had scored against the Falcons this season, however, the Senators were unable to keep pace late, despite five Senators finishing in double figures.
 
Kevin Bracy-Davis led the Senators with 27 points. The senior recorded his fourth double-double of the year, as Bracy-Davis finished with 10 rebounds in 35 minutes of action.
 
Rickenjee Bellevue also finished with a double-double for the Senators, recording 16 points and 11 rebounds. It was the junior's third-straight game with a double-double and eighth game with at least 10 rebounds.
 
Kevin Simpson finished with a season high 23 points in the game. Simpson was 8-for-10 from the floor and also picked up three assists and a steal.
 
Jordan McElveen and Wesley Sprinkle joined the other three in double figures. McElveen had 17 points and Sprinkle finished with 14 points. Both players shared for the team high with five assists.
 
Davis & Elkins made a season-high 35 free-throws in the game, going 35-of-43 from the line. The Senators also made a season-high 35 field goals in the game.
 
The Senators will return home to the McDonnell Center on Saturday. Davis & Elkins will face Urbana at 2 p.m.
