ELKINS – The Davis & Elkins College Men's Basketball team snapped a two-game skid with an 87-61 victory over West Virginia State in the McDonnell Center.
 
The Senators have now won four of their last six games with one more game before the holiday break.
 
Jordan McElveen had a career night for the Senators, setting multiple career highs. McElveen picked up a double-double with 26 points and 10 rebounds, both career highs. He also had two assists and a steal in the game.
 
Kevin Bracy-Davis joined McElveen in double figures, scoring 19 points. Bracy-Davis also had five rebounds to go along with a block and a steal.
 
Rickenjee Bellevue finished with six points and eight rebounds. But the center also had two blocks in the game and swiped a pair of steals.
 
Donte Doleman led the Senators in steals, recording three in the game. Doleman also had four points and five assists.
 
The Senators will return to action on Monday as they wrap up the fall semester against Glenville State. Tip-off is set for 6:30 p.m. in the McDonnell Center.
