CALIFORNIA, Pa. – The D&E volleyball team dropped a pair of matches Friday on day one of the California (Pa.) tournament. The Senators were swept by LIU-Post, 3-0 (25-18, 25-21, 25-17), and fell to Clarion by a 3-0 margin (25-21, 25-7, 25-18).

Elizabeth Estes led the way against LIU-Post with six kills. Haylee Murray notched 11 assists, while Alicia Stokes chipped in with 11. Nicole Miller registered 16 digs and Natalie Mathieu added 12.

Erin Legge finished with a team-high four kills versus Clarion. Murray tallied 10 assists. Miller notched 11 digs, and Mathieu chipped in with 10.

The Senators face Notre Dame (Ohio) on Saturday at 11 a.m. before wrapping up the tournament against the host Vulcans at 2 p.m.
