Davis and Elkins College Athletics

Remy Tazifor joined the Davis & Elkins men’s soccer staff as an assistant coach ahead of the 2025 season. 

He came to Elkins following four successful seasons as the first assistant coach with Michigan Stars Football Club, a professional team in Washington, Michigan. While with the Stars, Tazifor helped lead the team to three major trophies—capturing the NISA Championship and winning the NISA Independent Cup twice—while compiling a 45-7-3 record. 

Tazifor also served as head coach of United Stars Soccer Academy in the UPSL, guiding the team through an undefeated regular season. He has over seven years of coaching experience and holds a U.S. Soccer Federation B coaching license. 

Prior to coaching, Tazifor played professionally for more than a decade. His career included stints with the Pittsburgh Riverhounds, Detroit City FC, Michigan Stars FC, and IFK Valen TF. 

Originally from Cameroon, he holds an associate degree in sports management from the University of Buea and an associate of arts from Prince George’s Community College in Maryland.
