Madisen Lavelle returned to Davis & Elkins College in May 2025 as the Sports Information Director for Senator Athletics. Prior to this role, she served as the Director of Athletic Communications at Chowan University, where she managed the athletic website, social media platforms, and digital content for 19 NCAA Division II sports.
In her role at D&E, Lavelle oversees all aspects of athletic communications for the Senators, including website management, game coverage, photography, and creative content production. She also leads the department’s social media strategy, coordinates media days, and develops promotional campaigns to showcase D&E’s 20 varsity athletic programs.
A native of Bethel Park, Pennsylvania, Lavelle earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Management and Marketing from Davis & Elkins College in 2024. As a student-athlete, she competed for five seasons on the Senator softball team and gained NCAA tournament experience. During her time as a student, she also worked in the Athletic Department, gaining valuable hands-on experience in game day operations.
