Gadi Vogel joined the Davis & Elkins men’s soccer staff as an assistant coach in 2025.
Vogel arrived in Elkins after coaching in the Washington, D.C., area, most recently serving as an assistant coach at Top Rank Soccer Academy in Rockville, Maryland. He worked with the 2010 and 2016 boys teams, ran weekly practices and games, and led youth development programs for children ages 3 to 6.
He also served as head coach of the Charles E. Smith Jewish Day School varsity soccer team, guiding eight players to all-conference honors over two seasons. Under his leadership, the team showed significant improvement, with several players earning first-time recognition — including one with no prior soccer experience.
Vogel holds both bachelor’s and master’s degrees in sport management from George Washington University, where he was head manager for the men’s basketball program from 2019 to 2023. In that role, he oversaw a staff of six managers, contributed to scouting reports, created performance metrics, and provided operational support on the road.
In 2023, Vogel interned with the corporate partnerships department of D.C. United, assisting with sponsor relations and event activations on match days. He also gained international experience by attending preseason training sessions with Club Atlético Peñarol in Uruguay, observing professional coaching methods and team operations.
Vogel is fluent in Spanish, conversational in Hebrew, and holds a U.S. Soccer D Coaching License.
