Bria Brown joined the Davis & Elkins College women’s basketball coaching staff as an assistant coach ahead of the 2025–26 season.
She arrived in Elkins after serving as an assistant coach at DME Academy in Daytona Beach, Fla., where she worked with the Girls Post-Grad, High School National, and Regional teams. Brown also led the junior varsity squad as head coach in her first season and played a key role in the development of guards through personalized skill plans focused on ball handling, shooting, and basketball IQ.
A former collegiate standout, Brown played from 2021 to 2024 at St. Thomas University (Fla.), where she was a two-year team captain and earned Second Team All-Conference honors. She was named the program’s MVP during the 2023–24 season and was also recognized as Sun Conference Player of the Week. Before that, she competed at Oak Hills Christian College (Minn.) in 2020–21, earning Second Team All-Conference honors and twice receiving NCCAA Player of the Week recognition.
Brown holds a bachelor’s degree in business management with a specialization in marketing. Beyond the court, she brings experience in academic monitoring, recruiting, digital marketing, and event coordination. She has also worked with top-level recruits, including NCAA Division I and elite high school prospects.
A native of Tampa, Fla., Brown brings a strong commitment to player development, leadership, and team culture to the Senator women’s basketball program.
