Cameron Grant starts his second year as the head coach of the men's and women's tennis teams during the 2021-22 school year.
Grant coached two all-conference selections in hist first season at the helm of the tennis programs, which included a pair of victories. He earned his first head coaching win 7-0 home shutout of Frostburg State on March 26, 2021.
Grant helped the Senators transition into the Mountain East Conference (MEC) for their first season as an assistant coach. The 2019-20 squads combined for five victories on the year before the season was truncated just before the start of conference play.
Grant comes to Elkins from Springfield, Mass., where he attended Springfield College. Grant was a four-year starter on the Springfield College tennis team, helping the Pride to three NEWMAC tournament appearances.
Grant also has worked at Camp Winadu in Pittsfield, Mass. for the past four summers as a Tennis Coach and Counselor, and also coached tennis in 2018-2019 at the Greendale YMCA in Worcester, Mass.
Grant graduated from Springfield College in May 2018 with a degree in Sports Science, concentrated in Physical Education.
