Ed Lothes

Ed Lothes, a West Virginia native, is in his fourth season with the Davis & Elkins College Golf program. Lothes steps back to an operations role in 2018-19 after coaching the program for three seasons.

Lothes, who is a very successful amateur golfer in the state of West Virginia, has helped to develop the golf program at D&E, as well as reach into the community with community fundraiser events. Lothes was instrumental in the development of the Women's Golf program, which begins in the 2018-19.

Under his guidance, Lothes helped Alistair Kyle to the Individual Medalist honor at the 2017 Great Midwest Athletic Conference Championships.

Lothes is also instrumental in the development of the Wally Edgell West Virginia Division II Intercollegiate Championships, an inaugural event in 2016 named after the former Senators coach, that crowns the state's best Division II team.

Lothes and his wife reside in Elkins.
