Kimberly Stiles is in her seventh season as the head coach of the Davis & Elkins softball program.
Stiles has been at the helm of the only four 20-win seasons for Senator softball during the past 22Â years.
Last season, Stiles guided D&E to a 33-21 overall record in 2016. The Senators posted a 15-11 mark in conference play to finish third overall, an improvement from a fourth place finish in 2015. Stiles coached a pair of first team all-conference selections in pitcher Allie Lapallo and outfielder Alyssa Cairns.  Combined with Lapallo and Danielle Norton, the Senators have four first team selections in the last two seasons, with the last first team all-conference selection before that from D&E coming in 2002.
Stiles collected her 100th as the skipper for Senator Softball on April 30, 2015 against Kentucky Wesleyan.
A former NCAA Division I catcher at the University of Pittsburgh and Big East Academic Honor student, Stiles’s most recent success was at Midwestern State where her team finished the 2010 season with a 54-10 record. In addition, the Mustangs were named Lone Star Conference Regular Season Champions and NCAA Division II South Central Regional Finalists. Stiles and the rest of the softball staff at Midwestern State were recently named South Central Region Coaching Staff of the Year by the National Fast Pitch Coaches Association.
A high honors student in both her undergraduate and graduate studies, Stiles earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Political Science from the University of Pittsburgh and a Master of Science in Kinesiology/Sports Administration from Midwestern State University. As a member of the MSU faculty, she taught a variety of courses in the Department of Kinesiology.
Stiles competed for three seasons as catcher for the Pitt Panthers after earning a letter from the University of Vermont during her freshman year. In addition, she earned conference academic honors from the Big East and America East in each of her four seasons of competition.
During her undergraduate years, Stiles developed ski and snowboard camps for children. As with all members of the faculty and staff at D&E, part of her duties will include outreach to the larger community through softball clinics and camps for area youth.
