Kelsey Bernhardt was named Assistant Softball Coach and Assistant Women's Basketball Coach in July 2019.
Bernhardt spent the 2018-2019 season as an Assistant Softball Coach at Western Nebraska Community College, where she helped the Cougars to the NCCAC Region IX Conference Championship.
Prior to WNCC, Bernhardt played two years at NAIA Doane University, where she led the Tigers to an NAIA Tournament appearance in 2016, and was a two-time All-GPAC selection. Bernhardt also spent her first two years at Western Nebraska Community College, where she appeared on the Cougars' 2015 team which made an appearance in the NJCAA National Tournament and led the team in stolen bases with 62. Bernhardt hit over .300 each year of her playing career, and was a two-time conference runner-up.
Bernhardt also played soccer for Doane in 2017, leading the Tigers in goals (6).
Bernhardt graduated from Doane University in December 2017, and will assist in all facets of the Softball and Women's Basketball programs.
