2017-18 (at Tiffin): Played in 27 games, starting six... Averaged 4.0 points/game and 2.0 rebound/game... Shot 33.6% from the floor and 36.8% from beyond the arc... Recorded 18 points in a start against Carlow  (12/30/18)... Scored 12 points against Ashland (12/16/18) and Northwood (1/18/18). 

2016-17 (at North Dakota State): Saw action in 26 games, averaging 4.3 points per game and 1.7 rebounds per game... Popa hit 43.8% of his field goal attempts and was lethal from beyond the arc, hitting 42.3% of his attempts.

Personal: Son of Constantin and Michelle... Has four siblings... Majoring in Communications... Father played basketball for the Miami Hurricanes from 1991-1995 scoring 1,132 points before being picked in the 1995 NBA Draft by the Los Angeles Clippers with the 53rd overall selection.
