Assistant Men's Basketball Coach Breland Walton played for Davis and Elkins College from 2020-2023.
During his time with the Senators, he played in 56 games, starting 42 of them. He averaged 17.2 points per game, shooting 55% from the field and 36% from three-point range, while also pulling down 9 rebounds per game. Walton was a key player in the Senators' historic 2021-22 season, helping lead the team to 19 wins and their first winning season in 41 years.
Walton was a Second-Team All-Conference selection in 2020-21 and received an All-MEC Honorable Mention in 2021-22. After graduating, Walton played professional basketball for Zakho Club in Iraq, where he averaged 22.9 points, 9 rebounds, and 1.2 assists per game.
