ELKINS, W. Va. – Davis & Elkins College men's and women's track & field were recognized for their success in the classroom Monday as both programs earned U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) NCAA Division II All-Academic Team honors for the 2026 season.
The D&E men's team posted a 3.26 cumulative grade-point average, while the women's team recorded a 3.72 cumulative GPA. Both teams are led by head coach Jason Pyles.
In addition to the team recognition, four Senators earned USTFCCCA NCAA Division II All-Academic individual honors.

The USTFCCCA All-Academic Team award recognizes NCAA Division II track & field programs that achieve a cumulative team GPA of 3.0 or higher. Individual All-Academic honors are awarded to student-athletes who meet the association's academic and athletic performance criteria.
