SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. — Davis & Elkins men's and women's track and field delivered several standout performances Saturday at the Dave Labor Invitational hosted by Slippery Rock University.

The Senators were highlighted by multiple event victories and strong finishes across middle-distance and distance events against a competitive field. In total, Davis & Elkins claimed 12 top-five individual finishes across the nine events they competed in.

On the men's side, freshman Max Wildbore captured the 800 meters in 1:53.39, the fastest time in the Mountain East Conference and among the top five in the Atlantic Region. This marks the second consecutive week Wildbore has won the 800 meters, following his victory at the Carnegie Mellon Invitational last weekend. Wildbore was part of a strong showing in the men's 800 meters, with Tristan Blatt finishing second, Tommy Bildheiser fourth, and Cooper Gibson fifth, giving the Senators four of the top five overall spots.

Fletcher Van Heuven led the men's 1500 meters with a victory in 3:55.52, followed by Cooper Gibson in third (3:57.82) and Max Wildbore in 10th (4:03.41). Paul Langkopf finished second in the men's 3000-meter steeplechase in 9:58.38, and Andrew Bowen placed second in the men's 10,000 meters with a time of 32:52.06.

On the women's side, Lauren Twyman was the top Division II finisher in the 1500 meters, claiming runner-up honors in 4:35.98. The time is currently the second-fastest in both the MEC and Atlantic Region for the indoor mile MEC champion. Jeanne Pelissier placed third (4:44.12), Savanna Hardman sixth (4:48.83), Sierra Taylor 12th (4:57.94), and Zoe Belshan 13th (4:58.09).

In long-distance events, Rebecca Tellez captured the women's 10,000 meters title in 38:37.84, while Brooke Jacobs placed second in 40:18.57. Quinn Hazelett finished sixth in the women's 3000-meter steeplechase.

Davis & Elkins returns to action April 11–12 at the Bison Outdoor Classic (Qualifiers) hosted by Bucknell University in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania.
