ELKINS, W. Va. — Due to forecasted inclement weather, Davis & Elkins College has announced schedule changes for its baseball and softball programs this weekend.

The Senators baseball team has canceled all scheduled games against USC Beaufort. There will be no makeup dates.

D&E softball will now open the weekend with a doubleheader against UNC Pembroke on Friday, with first pitch set for 11 a.m. The second game is scheduled to begin at 1:30 p.m. Kutztown University and Felician University will no longer make the trip to Pembroke as part of the weekend schedule.

There remains a possibility that Davis & Elkins and UNC Pembroke could meet again on Sunday; however, current weather projections indicate that Friday's doubleheader may be the only games played.
