ELKINS, W.Va. — Davis & Elkins baseball has been picked sixth in the South Division in the 2026 Mountain East Conference preseason poll, as voted on by the league's 11 head coaches.
The Senators return senior redshirt Mason Brenneman, who led the team last season with a .325 batting average and also recorded 15 RBIs and 12 extra-base hits. Junior Zach Calef-Boring is also back after hitting .287 in 2025. Several new players, including freshmen and transfers, join the roster as D&E looks to compete in a talented South Division.
