ELKINS, W. Va. — The Davis & Elkins College men's lacrosse game scheduled for Sunday, February 1 against D'Youville at Nuttall Field has been canceled due to unsafe field conditions caused by recent snowfall.

No makeup date has been announced at this time.

The cancellation postpones the Senators' season opener. Davis & Elkins will now open the 2026 season on Saturday, February 7, when the Senators travel to face the University of the District of Columbia. The contest is scheduled for a 1 p.m. start in Washington, D.C.
