Box Score INSTITUTE, W.Va. — Davis & Elkins women's soccer came up just short in a 1-0 setback to West Virginia State on Wednesday evening in Mountain East Conference play at Lakin-Ray Field at Dickerson Stadium.
The decisive goal came in the 73rd minute when WVSU's Laura Pouedras converted to put the Yellow Jackets ahead. Despite playing with a player advantage after a West Virginia State red card moments later, the Senators were unable to find the equalizer.
