WISE, Va. – The Davis & Elkins volleyball team continued tournament play Friday at the UVA Wise Cavalier Classic, falling in straight sets to Barton and host UVA Wise inside the David J. Prior Convocation Center.

Game One
The Senators dropped their opener to Barton, 3-0 (25-17, 25-17, 25-14). Kelsea Moore and Kaylee Vanjo each tallied eight kills to lead the attack, while Saige Abbott added seven. Setter Emily Besten dished out 23 assists and chipped in nine digs. Defensively, Neve Norris anchored the back row with 12 digs, and Moore and Abbott contributed 10 and five respectively.

Game Two
In the evening matchup, D&E fell 3-0 to UVA Wise (25-15, 25-8, 25-23). Melisa Ozsar paced the Senators with seven kills, while Christine Rangel added five and Rylan Sharp chipped in four. Norris again led the defense with 16 digs and two aces, while setter Keira Robinson handed out seven assists.
