ELKINS, W.Va. — Five members of the Davis & Elkins men's soccer team earned All-Mountain East Conference honors as the league announced its 2025 postseason awards on Monday morning.
The Senators' First Team selections include sophomore Hugo Fauli, senior Francisco Lopez Kreik, and sophomore defender Yiftah Harari. Senior forward Chinedu Ikem earned Second Team recognition, while freshman midfielder Souleymane Baal was named to the All-MEC Freshman Team. Junior goalkeeper Charlie Phillips received Honorable Mention honors.
Fauli started all matches this season, contributing three goals and a team-leading seven assists for 13 points. He registered 36 shots, including 20 on target, and scored one game-winning goal while anchoring the Senators' midfield.
Lopez Kreik appeared in 17 matches with 16 starts, scoring four goals and adding one assist for nine points. He tallied two game-winning goals and ranked among the team leaders in shots with 38, including 11 on goal.
Harari anchored the D&E back line with 16 appearances and 14 starts. The sophomore defender contributed two goals and two assists on nine total shots, playing a key role in the team's defensive consistency.
Ikem, a senior forward, appeared in all 17 matches and finished the season with five goals and three assists for 13 points. He led the team in shots (41) and shots on goal (23) while netting two game-winning goals.
Phillips, the team's junior goalkeeper, made 42 saves and posted a .724 save percentage. He allowed just 16 goals across the season, earning seven wins, four draws, and five shutouts for the Senators.
Baal started all 17 matches as a freshman midfielder, adding one goal and one assist for three points while contributing on both sides of the pitch.
Davis & Elkins finished the regular season at 7-6-4 overall and 7-5-4 in MEC play, earning the No. 5 seed in the MEC Tournament. The Senators will travel to No. 4 Frostburg State for a quarterfinal matchup on Sunday, November 9 at 4 p.m.
