Box Score ELKINS, W.Va. — Davis & Elkins wrapped up its 2025 volleyball season Friday with a 25–18, 25–19, 27–25 loss to West Virginia Wesleyan at the McDonnell Center. Friday also served as D&E's Senior Night and Code Red Night, with the program recognizing seniors Melisa Ozsar and Maddie Edicola before the match.
Kaylee Vanjo led the Senators with eight kills on 11 attempts for a .727 hitting percentage. Ozsar added six kills in her final match, while Braelyn Brenneman finished with five kills and three block assists. Setter Emily Besten recorded 19 assists and seven digs.
D&E's strongest stretch came in the third set, where the Senators totaled 13 kills and extended the frame into extra points. Vanjo, Ozsar, Brenneman and Kelsea Moore each delivered key swings during the late push before Wesleyan closed out the set.
Neve Norris led the back row with eight digs, and the Senators finished with five team blocks on the night.
West Virginia Wesleyan was paced by 15 kills from MacKenna Halfin and totaled nine service aces.
