ATHENS, W.Va. — The Davis & Elkins College volleyball team dropped a 3-0 decision (25-10, 25-10, 25-9) to Concord University on Tuesday evening at the Carter Center in Mountain East Conference play.

The Senators were led by Saige Abbott, Christine Rangel, and Kaylee Vanjo, who each finished with four kills. Emily Besten paced the offense with five assists and added six digs. Defensively, Neve Norris posted a team-high 12 digs and contributed two assists, while Braelyn Brenneman led the front line with three blocks.

Concord was led by Meg Williams, who finished with 13 kills on a .444 hitting percentage, and Addison Adkins, who added nine kills and six blocks.

Davis & Elkins will close out its season on Friday, Nov. 14, hosting West Virginia Wesleyan at 7 p.m. inside the McDonnell Center. The match will serve as both Code Red Night and Senior Day, as the Senators celebrate their graduating student-athletes.
