GLENVILLE, W.Va. — Davis & Elkins dropped a Mountain East Conference road match Tuesday evening, falling 3-0 (25-20, 25-17, 25-15) to Glenville State at the Waco Center.

The Senators (0-12, 0-2 MEC) battled through multiple ties in the opening two sets but were unable to overcome the Pioneers' balanced attack. D&E was led by Melisa Ozsar, who posted seven kills and one block, while Neve Norris added six kills and 10 digs. Setter Keira Robinson contributed a match-high 19 assists to go with eight digs, two aces and three blocks.

Defensively, the Senators collected 50 digs, led by Norris and Maddie Edicola with 10 and nine, respectively. Christine Rangel chipped in five kills and three digs.

Glenville State (8-8, 1-1 MEC) finished with 45 kills, paced by Deniz Selen-Yazar's nine and Keleigh Chrisman's eight.

Davis & Elkins will return to action Friday, Oct. 3, when they travel to Institute, W.Va., to face West Virginia State at 7:00 p.m. in another MEC matchup.
