Elkins, W.Va. -- In a tightly contested women's lacrosse bout, Charleston pulled out the victory over Davis and Elkins with a final score of 12-8.

Charleston jumped out to an early 3-1 lead after the first period. The added to their lead with a strong second period and took a 9-4 lead into halftime.

The Senators would fight back in the third period and cut the lead to 10-6. However, the teams would alternate goals in the fourth period as both teams scored two goals.

Izzie Sevila lead the offensive efforts with 4 goals. Rylee Anderson and Ari Hinton added 2 goals apiece for Davis and Elkins.
